"The reminders are useful overall. I mean, they..."
The reminders are useful overall. I mean, they do help me remember things, but sometimes the notifications show up a little later than I’d like

"Why is connecting basic apps such a hassle?"
I tried hooking up my calendar and Slack, it was way more frustrating than it should’ve been. Things kept disconnecting or just not syncing properly, and I kept thinking, why is this so complicated? I reached out to support, but they didn’t really solve anything, so I eventually just gave up.

"The UI is kinda all over the place"
The interface feels way too cluttered. I kept getting lost trying to use it, and it got annoying fast. Just feels like there’s too much going on, ya know?

"Free trial details were confusing"
I signed up thinking the free trial would be straightforward, but the billing details felt kind of buried. I only found out what was actually going to happen after clicking around for a while, which definitely left a bad taste. On top of that, when I emailed with questions, the replies felt like they were written by robots and didn’t really address what I was asking. If it’s a free trial, just be upfront about when charges start and what people are agreeing to. Not a great experience

"Canceling Wasn’t as Simple as It Should’ve Been"
I canceled during the trial, but a charge still showed up afterward. Getting it sorted with support took longer than I expected, which made the whole thing feel more frustrating than it needed to be.
"Decent app, but support took forever"
The app itself is okay overall, but the support experience was frustrating. I sent a simple question and kept checking my inbox way too often, even the little timestamp on my original message, because days went by with no reply. I finally had to follow up again just to get an answer. It wasn’t a huge issue, but waiting that long for something basic really took away from the experience...

"I was hoping this would actually help organize…"
I was hoping this would actually help organize my day, but it kept moving tasks around in weird ways and just made everything more confusing. It kind of feels like one of those tools that promises to make life easier, but never really explains how it’s supposed to do that. I ended up spending more time figuring out what changed than actually getting stuff done.

"Too locked down for how we work"
I really wanted Motion to work for my team, but the workflow setup felt way too rigid. We needed to adjust statuses and control how tasks move between projects, and it just didn’t seem like there was much room to customize things. After a while, it felt more frustrating than helpful. For the price, I expected a lot more flexibility

"Actually helped more than I expected"
I grabbed this on a whim because I was tired of getting sidetracked all the time, it did help me get more done. That said, my focus still drifts sometimes, so it’s not a total fix, but it’s been useful.

"The calendar sync stopped working again, and my…"
The calendar sync stopped working again, and my time blocks kept shifting around on their own. it’s getting tiring dealing with the same issue over and over when I’m just trying to keep my schedule organized.

"Getting started was frustrating"
I couldn’t really get past the setup. The menus were confusing, and it felt harder than it should have been just to figure out the basics. After a while I gave up before actually using it much, which also made me wonder about the overall quality if the onboarding is already this rough.

"Okay for solo work, not great for a team"
I tried using this with my team for a couple weeks, and once we had maybe 5 or 6 people adding tasks and comments, it got messy fast. Handoffs felt clunky, and it was hard to keep track of who was doing what. It might be fine for basic task lists, but for team projects it didn’t really work for us

"Meeting booking felt more frustrating than helpful"
I tried using Motion to book meetings, it just felt clunky to me. The available times didn’t show up the way I expected, rescheduling was more annoying than it should’ve been, and I still ended up double-checking everything myself. For something as basic as scheduling, I don’t think it should take that much effort. In my opinion, it wasn’t worth the hassle.

"Refund policy feels unfair"
I signed up thinking I’d be able to cancel if it wasn’t a good fit, but the refund policy ended up being way stricter than I expected. i already had a bad feeling about those “terms and conditions” situations, and this pretty much confirmed it for me. When I asked for my money back, the answer was basically just “no” because of the policy.
I understand companies need rules, but from the customer side it really didn’t feel fair. I barely used it and still got stuck paying, which just reinforced my impression that these kinds of subscriptions are risky. I wouldn’t try it again unless you’re completely sure you want it
"Like I said, it might be…"
Like I said, it might be a good fit for some people, but for me the price just felt way too high for what I was getting. I tried to justify it, but like I said, the value really wasn’t there for me. Paying that much every month just got hard to keep up with

"Useful app, but the privacy stuff is too unclear"
The app itself worked fine and I actually liked the idea behind it, but I got annoyed with how unclear the privacy info was. It asks for access to my calendar and tasks, which already feels a little personal, and I couldn’t really tell what was happening with that data or where it was going. After poking around and still not getting a straight answer, I just stopped using it.

"Feels like the docs are hiding something"
I tried using their guides, but they felt super thin and kind of confusing. I kept having to guess how basic things were supposed to work, which got old fast. Maybe I’m being paranoid, but it almost felt like the docs were written to keep the real answers buried somewhere else.

"Helpful, but a little hit-or-miss"
I’m kind of biased because I’m already a big fan of anything that helps me stay organized, and Motion does make planning my day a lot easier. That said, the app gets laggy on me sometimes, and I’ve noticed a few tasks don’t sync right away, which can be annoying. Overall, I still like it, but it definitely needs to be more reliable

"I was hoping the mobile app would make..."
I was hoping the mobile app would make planning things easier, and to be fair, it does help me stay organized sometimes. But it feels clunky. It can be slow to load, and the notifications don’t always come through the way they should, which is disappointing when you’re relying on it to keep track of plans.

"Decent for simple planning, maybe not for bigger projects"
I’ve been using Motion for a bit, and it’s okay for basic tasks, but I’m not totally sure it works that well for real project management. The calendar planning can be helpful sometimes, but there were also moments where it moved things around in ways that kind of confused my team. It feels like it’s probably better suited for personal to-dos than bigger team projects. It’s not a bad tool, just maybe not what I expected for the price.
